Welcome to My Blog Party!

Ultimate Blog Party 2008

This post wll be stickied for the blog party week, so scroll down for newer posts.

Welcome to my party!! I'm Shawna, and this is my sweet and sassy Scamp. How's the weather where your from? We are about to be blasted with a little snow, so we're bundling up tight.

We are so excited that you came that we are giving away a book. I hope you love Christian fiction. That's mostly what I read besides pre-teen and teen books. I love doing book reviews and also participate in a teen book review blog called Teen Lit Review. We're giving away some books over there, too, so hurry on over after you've visited here a little while.

I am giving away my personal copy of "A Bride Most Begrudging" by Deanne Gist. Click here for my review of the book. All you have to do it leave a comment on this post, but please include an email address if I can't get to your blog. Non-bloggers are welcome to participate, too.

The contest ends Monday, March 17 at midnight. The winner will be posted after noon on Tuesday, March 18.

BTW, scroll down to see Scamp's Philosophies on life. You don't want to miss this! Thanks for stopping by.

Love your blog party Shawna! Scamp is adorable! (I see her binkies) I remember Amanda carrying around handfuls of mam binkies and now she's 17!!! I miss that! The other kids never liked them as much as she did.

Hi Shawna, your daughter is adorable and I know what it is to love a daughter. I have one, as well as four sons; and I appreciate my sons just as much but I really wanted to have a daughter. I don't have a sister and felt it would be a better perspective on life, a fuller family experience to have children of BOTH sexes. So I praise God for my daughter, and pray your Scamp and my daughter Sephora will both walk in the Lord always.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, too!
Yours is one of the prettiest blogs I've ever seen! I love the background and your daughter is a cutie. My "baby" is 21 and I'm visiting her this weekend :-) She's on spring break, came home for a couple days but had to come back half-way through the week for work. So I came with her :-)
One of my daughter's favorite memories was when she was about six, I think, and we had a really big box from a stove or something. We cut it down one corner so we could open it up. We clipped pictures from newspaper advertisements, a Sears catalog, and magazines, and created "rooms" on each panel. We had so much fun! And it kept us occupied for a week. Just thought I'd share that idea as a possible project for you and Scamp sometime :-)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hope you're enjoying the party! It's nice to visit yours. Tell Scamp thanks for the "message" and that is is soooo cute. (All that hair! Beautiful!) My two year olds don't recognize lowercase letters yet or I would have them "read" it. :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Snow, we're certainly not going to get any snow where I am. The mountains might see some but down in the valley it was sunny and 60 today. :)

Hi! Moocher here! Of course - I'd love to win the book. But don't let me! I have A LOT of books to read - and if I win that one it may delay me reading some teen book that I REALLY need to read! Have a great week!

That is such a great picture of you two! By the way, I told you I would do the Crazy 8s meme. When I sat down to do it, I couldn't think of 8 Things in all the categories. I may have to do a modified version!

What a sweet little girl! Tell her thanks for co-hostin'! No snow here - a beautiful, sunny 61 degree day. (Although I wouldn't hate a little snow...)

Hi! I'm a mother of 8 and love to read. With 5 children, my only chances of reading a good book are staying up late or reading on the toilet. I prefer reading on the toilet, even though I only get small spurts of reading at a time. (too much info?) When I get to the last few chapters, I might make it a late nighter because I can't stand to leave a book unfinished so close to the end. :)

Hey, I was blog hoping and ran upon your blog. Your little girl is adorable! I have two, Kayla is 8 1/2 and Kelsie is 2 1/2. The snow looked like a lot of fun! We live in FL so never see snow. We did drive up to see my family in AL in Jan just to play in it! Love your blog, I will be back to check things out more when I have a better chance to read it all.
