Photo Hunters: Architecture

My handsome hubby, Beef, worked on this intricately constructed sand castle while we vacationed in Gulf Shores with my parents. Even my mom got in on the fun and showed us how to make trees for the perimeter of the moat.

Join in on the fun at Photo Hunters.

I love your interpretation for this week's theme.

We also went to the beach last Wednesday and my 3-yr old son had a wonderful time playing in the sand and making his own sandcastles.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate your visit earlier.

That certainly is a nice design... now if only the tide wouldn't come in. The sand sculptures always remind me of the children's Sunday School song...
The wise man built his house upon the rock.. of course it says the foolish man built his house upon the sand. But half the fun of the beach is playing in that white sand. :)

I would call that temporary architecture!!! Such detail for something that will be gone with the tide changing. Looks like that was lots of fun.

How long did it take?? I hope he wore sunblock! Look at all those steps; those alone must have taken hours! It is totally amazing.
